Tonight was Nichole's 28th Birthday. To celebrate we bought tickets for her fiance Jay, me, Mike and of course the birthday girl to go see Rusted Root. I met them at their home with dinner, we went unhealthy but SOOO good! I made garbage plates! Those that are not accustomed to garbage plates (must not be from Rochester!)
Basically, you take macaroni salad, baked beans, fried potatoes (aka french fries), basically anything and you pile it on a big plate with a cheeseburger or hot dog on top with lots of hot sauce! It tastes amazing, its not very appealing to the eye, but let me tell you - no one from Rochester has never tasted one of these buggers!

Ok, you're right it doesn't look super appealing. But, it HAS to taste good. I mean, look what's in it!
How was Rusted Root? I'd love to see them live but they never come around this way.
